On January 26th Anais Holgado Lage and Paloma Moscardó Vallés presented their work at the IV International Conference on Teaching Grammar in Valencia, Spain. They discussed how to integrate grammar in courses that are content-based: in particular, Anais explain the case of the intermediate/advanced SPS107 course that she designed, and Paloma talked about the grammar in her advanced LSP course, SPA 205 Medical Spanish. The conference gathered professionals who work in plurilingual settings from Spain and other parts of Europe, and also grammar scholars from all over the world. Attendees had the opportunity to gain new insights through engaging with colleagues from various teaching contexts, making it an enriching experience for all involved. The two Spanish scholars said that even though the weather was colder than usual, they were able to enjoy the beautiful light of this Mediterranean city.
