Carolina Chaves-O’Flynn presented a paper in the 4th International Conference on the Historical Links between Spain and North America (April 11-13, 2018). This work is part of an article in process for the research journal “Glottopol”. The text explores the representations of the language in the pro-Franco discourse of the former director of the Colombian Academy of the Language, the Jesuit Félix Restrepo.
