Lecturers attend conference on new trends in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language
Last December, our lecturers Anna Alsina and Paloma Moscardó attended the XXVII “Encuentro Práctico Barcelona” organized by International House and Difusión. This is a prestigious conference for Spanish teachers which this year attracted around 400 professionals from all over the world.
The structure of the conference promotes a favorable environment for an intense exchange among professionals. New methodologies and materials applied to Spanish teaching in different contexts are shared, and presenters get the feedback of other colleagues with different perspectives, which enriches their own practices.
Main talks by scholars like Neus Figueras (Universitat de Barcelona), Fernando Trujillo (Universidad de Granada), and José Plácido Ruiz Campillo(Columbia University) were very informative and keep us on top of the new tendencies in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language.
