Anais Holgado Lage presented at the International Workshop on Spanish Sociolinguistics in Queens, NYC
Lecturer Anais Holgado Lage gave a talk on April 5 at the International Workshop on Spanish Sociolinguistics about some of the content in the class she coordinates in the department, SPA107. Her talk, “Integrating Spanish in the US as part of the curriculum in an intermediate Spanish language course”, was accepted as part of a session, “Best practices in designing and teaching Spanish in the United States”, organized by two instructors from Stony Brook University. In the session, four presenters shared their approach and some resources used in their courses to teach a very interesting topic: Spanish in the US.
