Welcome to the lecturer page of the Spanish and Portuguese Department.
Our team includes 21 lecturers who teach a wide variety of Spanish and Portuguese courses at the elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels (click here for more information on the language programs). Some of us serve as course coordinators and have been working to redesign existing courses and create new ones. Aside from our work in the classroom, we are highly committed to several fields of research. As you can see on our “Research” page, we are currently involved in scholarly work in fields such as theoretical linguistics, applied linguistics, language pedagogy, intercultural pragmatics, culture studies, film studies, literature, etc.
